Job description
We are immediately looking for an experienced Thermoplastic Composites Project Engineer to manage (partial) projects alongside the team members. Responsibilities include:
- Developing components from thermoplastic composites with customers and suppliers.
- Composing and refining materials, supervising DFM and FEA, and drafting product specifications.
- Developing tools and products using standard processes like lamination, consolidation, thermoforming, and CNC trimming.
- Brainstorming product designs and managing toolmakers.
- Programming product operations with robots.
- Drafting production work instructions in collaboration with the quality manager.
- Initiating and implementing improvement projects
Your Profile
- HBO/WO degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD packages.
- Eagerness to learn about materials, processes, and applications.
- Willingness to contribute to shop floor project work.
- Creative and out-of-the-box thinker.
- Several years of work experience, including with Thermoplastic Composites.
- Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus.
- Enjoys traveling and working in an international environment.
