Job description

We are immediately looking for an experienced Thermoplastic Composites Project Engineer to manage (partial) projects alongside the team members. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing components from thermoplastic composites with customers and suppliers.
  • Composing and refining materials, supervising DFM and FEA, and drafting product specifications.
  • Developing tools and products using standard processes like lamination, consolidation, thermoforming, and CNC trimming.
  • Brainstorming product designs and managing toolmakers.
  • Programming product operations with robots.
  • Drafting production work instructions in collaboration with the quality manager.
  • Initiating and implementing improvement projects

 

Your Profile

  • HBO/WO degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD packages.
  • Eagerness to learn about materials, processes, and applications.
  • Willingness to contribute to shop floor project work.
  • Creative and out-of-the-box thinker.
  • Several years of work experience, including with Thermoplastic Composites.
  • Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus.
  • Enjoys traveling and working in an international environment.
